The film has been very popular with audiences and has had a powerful motivating effect on many who watch it. They want to get involved and become active. At most screenings local activist groups were present with literature tables and announcements to help people plug into whatever local struggles were taking place. James Ficklin (director) also had literature and videos available at all the screenings.
